Job role
We are hiring a talented Technical Accountant to join our team in Bucharest office. The role is part of Bucharest Financial Hub which provide day to day and month end closing accounting support for Allianz entities with emphasize on insurance accounting.
Responsibilities - Organize and execute the closing process to complete premium, commission, claims gross and ceded (pipeline process)
- Complete assigned posting, journal entries and account reconciliations
- Monthly legal entity close submission activities, including posting accruals, manual adjustments and other accounting transactions
- Check and control the underwriting result and the insurance technical balance sheet
- Document application of policies, procedures and workflow for assigned areas of responsibility
- Fully reconcile and substantiate all assigned accounts. Archive records to satisfy audit statuary requirements.
- Partner with team members to learn and understand the Company's business and workflows
- Identify, define and prioritize, in coordination with process stakeholders, standardization and process improvement opportunities across the end-to-end process
- Identify and escalate opportunities to leverage new technologies such as robotic process automation to drive efficiencies
- Conduct ad hoc requirements and participate in special projects as they arise
Requirements: - ?Strong academic background (preferably Accounting, Business Administration, Economics)
- Experience in accounting processes and accounts reconciliations ideally in the insurance/reinsurance industry
- Process improvement oriented
- Experience with project management
- Ability and experience to work with big data volume (Access or/and SQL would be considered a plus)
- SAP experience will be considered a plus
- Proven command of English language (verbal and written)

Responsibilities
- In the field of property and casualty (P&C) coinsurance, carry out the technical and? accounting management of co-insurance transactions for premiums, claims and commissions
- Allocate the funds received based on the corresponding coinsurance quotas
- Verify the premium allocation and carry out the necessary adjustments where needed
- Follow-up, treat and allocated the cash flows corresponding to the international co-reinsurance contracts?
- Treat the fluxes rejected during the monthly integration done automatically:? opening of claims files/ Recording of payments , Revaluation of claim amounts?, etc.
- Supervise to ensure proper application of coinsurance terms as imposed by the Bureau Central de Repartition (organism of compensation)
- Maintain and update procedures
- Work in conjunction with Underwriting department, Claims, Brokers, Agents, BCR, and Companies
- Regularly settle and claim funds from co-insurers
- Respond to various internal and external complaints
- Fill in activity tracking
Requirements
- Accounting/Finance graduate (master degree would be a plus)
- Fluent English written and spoken
- B2 or C1 level of French knowledge
- Minimum 3 years' experience in the Insurance/Finance/Banking Accounting? sector

Job role
The Process Improvement Specialist acts as transformation advisor and main point of contact between different customers, stakeholders and the responsible party in order to support the envisioned changes within Allianz Group processes. In the Claims Business Analyst role, you will be a key member of the Claims team and will work in close collaboration with the Actuarial team, as part of the Actuarial Service Center within Allianz Technology Bucharest Branch. You will provide analytical and reporting support as instructed by AGCS Claims Portfolio Intelligence and Coordination and Claims Performance Monitoring teams. Responsibilities Regular and ad-hoc analysis of claims portfolio & report creation:- Analysis of data and portfolio trends (development over time, outliers etc.);

- Manage regular report deliveries to stakeholders (data reconciliation, analysis, presentation and commenting);
- Data plausibility checks, quality assurance & improvement;

- Actuarial processes optimizations and transformation solutions development;
- Data management and analytics,? including experience investigations, reconciliation, validation;
- Reporting an interpretation of analyzed data
- Actuarial model development, validations, maintenance, documentation and testing

Job role
In this role, you will work as a member of the Pricing? team within Global Portfolio Management at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS).
AGCS is the Allianz center for corporate and specialist risk, servicing clients worldwide across the whole spectrum of marine, aviation, corporate and industrial insurance.
The Pricing team is responsible for technical price development and its implementation as well as pricing analytics across AGCS globally. The team is spread across London, Munich, Chicago and Bucharest (via Allianz Technology).
Responsibilities - Take full ownership of the data quality and report development and delivery for the assigned tasks and processes;
- Provide regular reporting and analysis from the AGCS Pricing Tool data to assist management with the active steering of the portfolio, particularly monitoring of risk adjusted rate changes;
- Develop ad-hoc reports in close collaboration with the relevant business units and other stakeholders, as the need arises;
- Support the team in developing and maintaining pricing tools;
- Establish an excellent working relationship with Underwriting to ensure their long-term support for the pricing tools;
- Successfully collaborate with multiple departments within AGCS.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics or Actuarial;
- Previous general insurance work experience is not required, although current work experience is an advantage;
- Willing to work in an international environment, previous experience of working with colleagues located in different countries is an advantage;

In the Actuarial Analyst role, you will work as a member of the Actuarial Support Center team within Allianz.
