Claims Manager – Life Insurance

Claims Manager – Life Insurance
Main purpose of the job:
- Identify, evaluate, measure and monitor claim activity, ensuring legal
integrity and sound business practice in Companies' affairs, according
to Law 32/2000, Norm 16/2009.
Core responsibilities:
- Organize, coordinate and control daily activity of claims handling;
- Elaborate specific reports and documentation regarding claims activity
as per CSA, EFG Group and other authorities' request;
- Manage technical system, aiming at improving and developing lean workflows;
- Participate actively in product development projects;
- Develop, implement and continuously improve operational processes and
procedures;
- Work closely with the management with a view to fine-tuning the operational
processes and procedures of the company, aiming at finding optimal business
solutions.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:
- Specific requirements:
- Seniority: minimum 3 years in insurance
claims handling;
- Strong knowledge of life insurance.
- Education: University degree;
- Computer skills: good knowledge of Microsoft Office;
- Understanding of the legal/ regulatory requirements;
- Abilities, qualities required: technical abilities to use and improve
IT applications; good organzation skills; initiative; ability to analyze
and synthesize; attention to details; fast learner and team spirit;
open minded.
