CLAIMS MANAGER - General Insurance

Main purpose of the job:
Managing efficiently the claims handling activity, ensuring investigation, negotiation and settlement of claims within agreed authority level in accordance with company and regulatory requirements, whilst providing a high standard of customer service.

Core responsibilities:

  • Coordinating and controlling the entire technical activity of the general insurance claims:
    - Leading and optimizing claims handling activities;
    - Developing and implementing processes/procedures in general insurance business;
    - Working closely with the top management team to develop and consolidate general insurance business.
  • Insuring claims are correctly reserved and settled in accordance with internal guidelines.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:
- University degree;
- Minimum 3 years experience in insurance business, underwriting or claims handling is a plus;
- Strong background in general insurance business, especially property related products and strong knowledge of the relevant market (general insurance/reinsurance);
- Strong sense of responsibility and ownership;
- Excellent abilities of organizing and planning;
- Ability to meet deadlines and achieve targets;
- Flexibility and adaptability;
- Excellent computer skills: MS Office;
- Strong command of English.

RISK MANAGEMENT MANAGER - General Insurance

Main purpose of the job:
Managing efficiently the risk management activity, providing analysis, development and approval of all measures to be taken in order to identify, evaluate, monitor and control all business risks.

Core responsibilities:
- Elaborate proper norms, policies and procedures in order to make a strong risk evaluation and to restrict risk exposure;
- Set tolerance limits for indentified risks, including for crisis periods, according to company's procedures, norms and risk policies;
- Working closely with the top management team to develop and consolidate general insurance business;
- Develop adequate reporting system in respect of the company's risk exposure status;
- Prepare risk management activity reports requested by CSA (Insurance Supervision Commission) and other relevant authorities.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:
- University degree
- Minimum 3 years experience in insurance business;
- Comprehensive understanding of the legal/ regulatory requirements;
- Excellent analysis skills;
- Ability to meet deadlines and achieve targets;
- Excellent computer skills: MS Office
- Strong command of English
