Inspector Specializat

Descrierea postului:
- Gestioneaza contractele de intermediere in asigurari si documentatia necesara obtinerii calitatii de agent in asigurari;
- Administreaza datele de identificare ale intermediarilor;
- Asigura o permanenta comunicare cu unitatile teritoriale privind eventualele neconcordante legate de completarea/transmiterea contractelor de agent.

Cerinte:
- Absolvent studii superioare (de preferat ASE);
- Experienta anterioara (preferabil in domeniul asigurarilor);
- Cunostinte despre functionarea administrarii contractelor comerciale si despre sistemele de distributie;
- Cunostinte temeinice in utilizarea PC; MS Office, cunostinte avansate de calcul tabelar;
- Buna cunoastere a limbii engleze;
- Abilitati de comunicare;
- Spirit de echipa;
- Atitudine orientata catre client;
- Persoana analitica, riguroasa, bine organizata;
- Capacitatea de a stabili si respecta termene limita.

In order to complete its team of professionals, the current opening position is:

Chief Financial Officer

Main role:
- As a key member of the senior management team, the Chief Financial Officer will report to the CEO and assume a strategic role in the overall management of the company;
- The CFO will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, job costing, financial related projects, legal, property management, financial and tax strategies, development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results, etc.;
- The CFO will directly assists the Chief Operating Officer (COO) on all strategic and operational matters as they relate to business as usual, budget management, cost benefit analysis, etc.

Primary responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee all aspects of the finance & accounting function of the organization;
- Participate in key decisions as a member of the senior management team;
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior management team so as to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions;
- Provide management team with advice on the financial implications of business activities;
- Assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting strategic initiatives;
- Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans;
- Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance;
- Provides leadership for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives;
- Develop financial and tax strategies;
- Manage the capital request, planning and budgeting processes, including quarterly forecast reviews;
- Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction;
- Oversee the issuance of financial information;
- Report financial results, special analyses to the management;
- Personally review and approve all reporting to Head Office;
- Timely reporting & statements required by the Romanian laws to statutory and regulatory bodies;
- Analysis of financial accounting data received from other departments (actuarial and operations);
- Monitor cash flow to meet the organization's needs;
- Coordinate the investment committee;
- Oversee the maintenance of the inventory of all fixed assets;
- Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors;
- Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations;
- Liaise with auditors to ensure that all audit points are satisfactorily dealt with in a timely manner;
- Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements;
- Ensure that effective internal controls are in place in the area of financial operations;
- Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile related to financial aspects;
- Report risk issues related to financial operations to the audit committee and internal controller;
- Maintain appropriate insurance coverage;
- Monitor banking activities of the organization.

Additional responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate department staff;
- Manage any third parties to which functions have been outsourced;
- Implement best practices;
- Manage projects;
- Attend Board meetings;
- Participate in conference calls;
- Assist in the design, implementation and timely calculations of wage incentives and salaries for the staff;
- Other duties as assigned by the CEO.

Required knowledge, skills and abilities:
- A hands-on manager with high level of integrity, credibility and dependability, with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation;
- Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles;
- Knowledge of financial and accounting reporting systems;
- Knowledge of strategic planning and execution;
- Knowledge of contracting, negotiating and change management;
- Knowledge of main insurance processes (underwriting, policy management, claims) represents a plus;
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections;
- Ability to simultaneously manage several projects;
- Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings;
- Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes;
- Ability to recognize and be responsive to the needs of all clients of the organization;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; transparent and open approach;
- Demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities, proposing new ways of creating efficiencies;
- Proactive approach on new topics and challenging scenarios;
- Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills;
- Strong commitment to developing team members;
- Working knowledge of English language;
- PC proficiency is essential.

Experience and education:
- 10 years of experience (5 years management) in financial operations;
- Experience in financial services/banking industry; relevant experience in insurance represents a major advantage
Proven project management experience;
- Completion of a bachelor's degree at an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience;
- Certified Accountant (ACCA).
