Head of MTPL Claims Department

Technical Knowledge as follows:
- Knowledge and understanding of the nature and sources of law, the law of tort, the law of contract, the insurance contract, and their application in the Moldova Republic;
- Knowledge and understanding of the insurance market, the basic insurance principles and the ability to apply them: indemnity, utmost good faith, subrogation, contribution, insurable interest, condition of average, proximate cause, material fact, fundamental risks, proposal forms, certificates, types of product, policy documents, claim forms, policy cycle, compulsory insurance, co-insurance, contract certainty principles and the use of reinsurance.

Business Knowledge & Skills:
- Demonstrate a good understanding of regulatory requirements and the impact these have on the business. Able to identify conflicts of interest and act to mitigate;
- Ability to create effective reports based on business performance and demonstrating financial awareness;
- Ability to effectively negotiate with all parties to a claim.

Interpersonal skills:
- The ability to establish effective working relationships both internally and with business partners;
- Ability to make sound judgment based upon available information and reason and justify decisions to others;
- Demonstrate an ability to make effective decisions when dealing with complex technical claims scenarios. Able to provide recommendations for claims decisions to team members;
- Demonstrate an effective approach to multi tasking and is able to meet timescales;
- Ability to utilize records in accordance with internal procedures and regulatory guidelines;
-Utilizes communication skills in thorough and effective manner to manage the claims process.

Main requirements:
- University Law degree / Technical university degree;
- At least 2 years experience in Claims regularization;
- Very good knowledge of business English / German language.
