Risk Controller Job description: - Works closely with business and functional areas of the company in order to support in identification and evaluation of all significant risks; - Assists business functions in the development of efficient and effective risk controls; - Coordinates with other functions within the company to improve our operational risk control processes; - Develops and prepares risk reports and escalates any significant items which could affect the company's current and future risk profile; - Undertake regular reviews and follow-ups; - Reviews and contributes to the development of relevant policies and control standards; - Helps promote and instill a culture of operational risk control and excellence across the company. Requirements: - University degree in business, economics or IT; - Minimum 3 years working experience in financial controlling/process controlling or internal audit; - Experience in insurance and the understanding of basic processes; - Experience in operational risk management would be a plus; - Very good command of English; - Strong computer skills (MSOffice); - Good organizational, multi-tasking, prioritizing and time management skills; - Excellent interpersonal skills (including teamwork) are essential for this position; - Must be able to communicate complex processes to non-technical managers and other stakeholders; - Intellectually curious, resourceful, focused, with a proven ability to gather, synthesize, analyze and disseminate useful information.
